The Canton College Foundation serves as the meeting point between the generosity of alumni and supporters of SUNY Canton, and the students, faculty, staff, and the College itself. The Canton College Foundation provides scholarships, grants, funds, and other enhancements to SUNY Canton through its endowment, assets, and direct support from our donors.
The generous philanthropy of our alumni, as well as benefactors from our small Northern New York community, as well as those around the country and world, enables the Canton College Foundation to help provide students access to a high-quality education that might otherwise be out of reach. Partnerships facilitated by the Foundation helps maintain the College’s classrooms, laboratories, and other learning spaces, so that students and employers can be confident our alumni are equipped to enter the workforce with the distinction of a SUNY Canton education.
Our Mission
The Canton College Foundation, Inc. was created to support the mission of SUNY Canton. Its purpose shall be to encourage, accept, and hold gifts; to manage investments and gifts; to aid the College in carrying out its commitment to provide educational opportunities for all qualified individuals; and to make such grants and loans of financial assistance to the students, faculty, staff, and administration of the College as shall be consistent with the purposes and policies of SUNY Canton.
